How to Display Your Local Artwork Purchases

Local art events are a great way to find some unique pieces that no one else has, but don’t stop there. When you do find that painting or photograph that speaks to you, the next step is to show it off for the world to see. At Rosenbaum Framing, we are sharing some secrets to display your Art in the Park art purchases so that everyone can admire your new art.

When framing Art in the Park art purchases, it is important to think about where you want to display your local artwork. The room and the surrounding décor will affect the choice of framing materials. Your newly remodeled bathroom will have different requirements for framing than a fun painting for your child’s bedroom.

Protect your art. You spent good money on that local artwork and it’s likely one of a kind. You want to make sure that it lasts for many years to come. The best way to do this is to ensure that you use conservation materials such as UV protective glass if it will hang in a sunny location and archival matting for works on paper to prevent acidification. If you use a cheap frame from a local big box store, you may be kicking yourself later.

Use the best materials. This goes along with protecting your art. You are proud of that unique piece and it deserves to be shown off in the best frame. Fine art framing can make your local art fair purchase look like as important as an expensive piece of work from a famous artist. Your friends will be asking how you ever got your hands on such an amazing piece.

If you have no idea where to start, get custom framing. Even if you have a good idea, a professional consultant can help elevate your local art piece to the next level. Because they are experts in the industry, they will probably have ideas that you never would have thought of.

So after you check out Art in the Park or another art event in the South Florida area, come to our Boca Raton custom frame shop, and we will help you display your local art work purchases.
